Serving Our Patients During the
Coronavirus Pandemic
During
this difficult period, when people are rightly concerned about their health and
safely due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, we are continuing to work with
our patients as normally as possible. However, we are taking precautions to
protect our patients and staff.
We
are seeing most of our patients by telehealth. We will discuss with you whether
telehealth is appropriate for you or your children, and
decide whether we will have your session at the office, by telehealth or cancel
your appointment. Most health insurance plans cover telehealth sessions. We
will talk to you about whether telehealth is an option for you, and we can show
you how to set up your phone and/or computer to use our telehealth software. We
will of course wave cancellation fees when we cancel or reschedule your
sessions due to your health. Please verify with your insurance company that
your plan includes coverage for telehealth services. We can provide telehealth
services on a fee-for-service basis for anyone who is not covered by their plan.
If
you are unable to reach us at the office (401-245-4040, 401-247-1171,
401-245-0015), please call or email your clinician directly:
